LEVEL-1 STUDIO is an independent game development studio focused on retro-inspired experiences, arcade gameplay, and classic console aesthetics.
One leads the programming, technical art, visual design, gameplay systems, animation, and overall artistic direction of the project, combining modern development techniques with a deep passion for classic arcade experiences and Sega Mega Drive development.
Alongside him is our music and audio technical specialist, dedicated to pushing the Sega Mega Drive sound chip to its limits and crafting authentic 16-bit soundtracks and sound design that stay true to the spirit of retro hardware.
We are currently working on our first Sega Mega Drive / Genesis project, combining fast arcade action, retro visuals, and original gameplay systems inspired by the games we grew up with.
This is only the beginning.
